Wood grille for floors

Grille that covers all openings in floors with stylish wood. Kungs wood grilles for floors consists of parallel wooden bars and an external frame. The bars have the dimensions 12 x 21 mm and the distance between them is approximately 9 mm. The grille covers openings with a width between 100 mm and 400 mm and unlimited length. If the opening is longer than 1800 mm, the grilles are simply placed after each other. The free area over the grille inset is 63%.

The grille is available in two types:

TGL which has lengthways bars.
TGT which has crossing bars and is rollable.

The grille inset is either lowered into the opening onto a built-in lengthways stock, or into a frame ordered as an add-on. The frame can be of types GG or IF and is delivered as a unit up to 2500 mm. For longer grilles, the frame is divided into two short sides and appropriate long sides. TGL requires crossing reinforcements underneath at a distance of max 300 mm.

The grille inset is made from any massive wood of your choice. The bars in the grille inset are fixed to each other with pipes of anodized aluminium. By default all wood surfaces are treated with oil or clear varnish. Alternatively, the wood surfaces can be treated with flame retardant. The grille can then be fitted to air vents.
